Press

Welcome to the AI in Defence Summit press page. Please apply for a press accreditation pass if you'd like to attend the summit as a journalist, analyst, or photographer. Read the regulations carefully before applying.

Due to the sensitive and invitation-only nature of the summit, press accreditations are strictly limited and we cannot guarantee every request will be granted. If your application is approved, a confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided.

1

WHO CAN OBTAIN PRESS ACCREDITATION?

Accreditation is open to journalists, editors, analysts, and photographers covering defence, security, technology, geopolitics, or European affairs on a regular and professional basis. Accreditation is granted only to professionals formally assigned by a recognised media outlet, research institution, or publication to cover the summit.

2

DEADLINE: 1 FEBRUARY 2027

The application period closes 1 February 2027. Applications submitted after this date will not be considered.

3

USING YOUR ACCREDITATION PASS

Your accreditation pass is required to access the summit venue, press room, and all on-site press briefings. It must be worn visibly at all times during the event. The pass is strictly personal and non-transferable. Misuse will result in immediate confiscation and removal from the premises. Lost or stolen passes will not be replaced. Your pass is valid for the 2027 edition of the AI in Defence Summit only.

4

CHATHAM HOUSE RULE

Portions of the summit operate under Chatham House Rule. Accredited press will receive a full session-by-session briefing on what may be reported, quoted, and attributed. Violation of these terms will result in revocation of accreditation and may affect future applications.

5

HOW TO OBTAIN YOUR ACCREDITATION PASS

Complete the application form in full. All fields are mandatory. Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed. You will be asked to provide proof of assignment (editorial letter, masthead, or recent published byline) from your outlet.

6

ONLY COMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED

Applications that do not meet all conditions set out in this form, including proof of assignment and outlet credentials, will not be considered.

7

FREELANCERS

Freelance journalists and photographers will not be accredited unless formally assigned by a recognised outlet and able to demonstrate a track record of published work in relevant subject areas.

8

NOTIFICATION

You will receive a decision on your application no later than two weeks before the summit. Given the volume of requests, we are unable to provide individual feedback on unsuccessful applications.
